The greens of Ronalth's first clutch were themed on the seven deadly sins as personified by David Hopkins in his webcomic Jack (PG 13, not for children). Jack is the sin of wrath, ironically enough a large green rabbit and the reaper who brings souls to the line of judgement. That being said, he's not a mean or hateful person, in fact he seaks moreso than any of the other sins to help the living avoid being sent to hell, even if he can't remember why he's there himself.
