For the Love of the Game Brown Notreth

This tiny brown seems more orange than any other color. Orange, with brown speckles evenly placed across his whole body, giving him a slightly polkadotted look.

Egg Name and Description

Oblong Victory Egg
This egg appears to have come out all wrong. Two of its ends taper, nearly to a point and it is an odd orangey-brown not normally seen in eggs, with white rings encircling its pointed ends and a series of short white lines crossing a longer one that runs along its middle.

Hatching Message

Oblong Victory Egg wobbles a few more times, then its seam splits and its orange-brown occupant emerges like a chick from an egg.

Impression Message

For the Love of the Game Brown Hatchling takes a bit more time, seemingly intent to play in the sand. It isn't until young Yanston approaches him that he looks up and impression is made, "Oh, Nothreth!" the young brown, completely without control over his voice yells out <i><brown>Get my Y'sto some meat, please?</brown></i>

Personality

Mindvoice

Cheering Crowd enters your mind, chanting one name over and over again. Is it yours? Or someone else's? It's hard to tell, like it's echoing down a tunnel, but the support is there. Whoever they're cheering must be quite the person.

Cheering Crowd thins to one voice. You can do it. Win the game. Save the day. Bring home the bacon. You can do it. You can do it. You can do it. Then the chanting of the name returns. One name, but whose?

Cheering Crowd quiets, receding back to sleep and nothingness until their cheer is needed again. Someday.

Inspiration

The theme for this clutch was historical movies. The Oblong Victory egg was based on the movie Rudy ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108002/ ) The story of a boy who loves football and wants nothing more than to play at Notre Dame.

The egg and hatchling were both inspired by the shape and patterning of a football. The mindvoice was inspired by the chanting crowd ("Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!"). The name of the hatchling came from Notre Dame, the college where he played.
